Blessings : Beaumont's Steve Gilbert Blessings Fund

Beaumont Candle Co has been so blessed and we want to pay it forward, not just once a season, but every day.

As some of y’all may know, my husband is a local Veterinarian and yes, we have LOTS of pets in our home! Being in practice for 32 years, he has seen it all! The cute puppies and kittens, the police dogs, the stray that turns into a treasured family member, and sometimes things happen, families fall on hard times, making expensive life saving surgeries, and pet care almost impossible. 

My husband had a client who we have had the pleasure of calling a friend for years, who loved his dogs with all his heart. He would drop by for shots or meds and as he would leave he would hand the receptionist several hundred dollars at a time, and say “Use this money for someone who needs it for their pet care” and he would just walk out. The amount of pets he helped over the years is outstanding!

He passed away a few weeks ago and we are just heartbroken! He had the biggest heart and was the most generous guy you would ever meet. He never knew who received his “rescue fund” money and they never knew who gave it to them. I’m not sure that anyone ever knew about his wonderful generosity, until now.

I approached his family to tell them that I wanted to start a Blessings fund that helps families out just as he did, and I want to include his name. He was an inspiration to me! He was a blessing! His name was Steve.

Beaumont’s Steve Gilbert Blessing Fund 

Each month starting May 1, 2022, we will feature a fragrance of the month for our Blessings fund. The candle and melt will feature a Blessings label to represent the good that its purchase is doing. We will make donations to Animal Hospitals here locally and in other parts of the country through Beaumont affiliates.
